Safari can download the app file, but cannot install this version of Teleport by itself. You’ll need access to a Mac or Windows computer for initial installation and preparation.
The release plan uses the computer once for installation, preparation and renewal enrollment. Enrollment is currently assisted. Until it is confirmed for your phone, the preview still needs AltStore refresh through a computer.

Start on the computer. Connect and unlock the iPhone, and accept Trust This Computer if prompted.
2. Get Teleport and the setup helper
On iPhone, save Teleport.ipa to Files. Open AltStore → My Apps → + and choose it. Keep AltServer running and reachable until installation finishes.

Use the Apple account that signs this installation for future updates. Do not enter an Apple password into this public website.
Prepare the iPhone.
- Trust the developer. Open iPhone Settings → General → VPN & Device Management, select the developer entry, and follow the trust prompts.
- Enable Developer Mode. Go to Privacy & Security → Developer Mode. Complete the restart and confirm Turn On.
- Run the setup helper on the computer. Extract the setup ZIP and open . The source helper requires Python 3.12.
- Check and prepare. Connect one unlocked iPhone by USB. Restore GPS if active, close Teleport, and quit Xcode. In the helper, choose Check iPhone, then Prepare iPhone.
Developer Mode is missing?
After installing and trusting the app, fully close and reopen Settings. Then look under Privacy & Security again.
The helper doesn’t see the phone?
Unlock it and accept Trust This Computer. Try another data cable or port. On Windows, complete the Apple driver setup in the official AltStore guide. Keep only the phone being prepared connected.
Make sure it works.
Open Teleport and complete Check my iPhone. Invited testers use their individually issued in-app access key. A browser test key is different.
- Choose a pin and tap Teleport. Then tap Restore GPS and check that restoration is confirmed.
- Unplug USB. Test another point with Wi-Fi off and cellular on, then restore GPS.
- Restart the iPhone, unlock it once, and repeat without USB.
If a check fails, stop here. Don’t purchase access or delete the app. Open Settings → Connection → Check local connection and use the troubleshooting guidance below.

Renewal is not activated by this guide, a download, or a subscription.
For invited testers, the setup operator verifies the signing account and installed app, creates an individual renewal connection, and confirms a renewal from the server.
Account-linked setup will appear here when enrollment opens. Existing renewals are unaffected.
One use. Expires in 10 minutes. Keep it private; it connects the helper to your Teleport account. This is not an Apple sign-in code.
What will I install on the iPhone?
Teleport Automatic Connection is a VPN profile, not a second app. Its individual download can open in Safari. Approve it in Settings → Profile Downloaded → Install. If it disappears before installation, download it again. Apple’s profile installation guide ↗
It is configured to route only the private renewal server address. Keep it enabled and allow regular Wi-Fi access. Selecting another VPN can prevent renewal. Connection performance still needs wider testing.
Until enrollment is confirmed
Use AltStore’s Refresh All with AltServer running on the setup computer before the signing expiry. Keep the same account and the existing app. If AltStore has also expired, reinstall AltStore through AltServer first.
Progress is a checklist saved only in this browser. It does not verify the phone or activate renewal.

Automatic renewal,

Server renewal has passed on two enrolled phones using separate Apple accounts. Opening Teleport Test beyond its original embedded expiry also passed on the original phone, with access and saved places intact. These pilot results do not enroll a new customer.
Downloading this preview does not enroll a phone in automatic renewal. Until enrollment is verified for that phone, refresh it through AltStore with the setup computer before the seven-day signing expiry.
Use the same account and app identity for updates. Keep the existing app installed to preserve saved places. General customer enrollment is the next integration step.
A few useful answers.
Does Teleport need a computer during location changes?
After preparation, the current app runs location sessions on iPhone over Wi-Fi or cellular. The release plan uses a computer for one-time installation, preparation and automatic-renewal enrollment. Until enrollment is confirmed, this preview still needs the computer for fallback AltStore renewal.
What if the app no longer opens?
Keep it installed. Refresh it through the same installer and Apple account. If AltStore expired too, reinstall AltStore through AltServer first. AltStore troubleshooting ↗
What if preparation or the connection check fails?
Unlock the phone, confirm Developer Mode is on, and connect only that phone by USB. Try the helper again. On Windows, complete the Apple driver setup in AltStore’s official guide. Quit Xcode and use the updated helper’s Prepare iPhone step. If it only fails after restarting, the older preparation may have been temporary. Repeat the unplugged restart test afterward. Stop before purchasing if the connection check fails.
How do I return to my real location?
Tap Restore GPS in Teleport. It stays available without a membership. Allow location access so the app can confirm a fresh real location. Stopping a route alone leaves the location at its last point.
Test privacy and payment information
This is a development preview, not a live subscription offer. Use Stripe test card details and synthetic test identities; test data may be removed after testing.
The website uses one essential sign-in cookie and stores optional setup-checklist progress in this browser. Start guide over clears that progress. No analytics or advertising cookies are included. The membership service stores account and billing references; Stripe processes payment details. It does not receive saved pins or GPS coordinates. Maps and search use Apple services.
Never enter an Apple password on this website. Signing happens in the installer. Automatic-renewal enrollment is a separate pilot that requires signing credentials and a device connection; it is not activated by checkout.
